Kalaya – Na – mit

“Kalaya – Na – mit”

-The goal was to turn the father’s childhood home into a playground for his kids and their friends. The design had to work for both toddlers and parents.

We started by listening to everyone’s needs:

The Father: He didn’t say much, but his eyes showed how much he missed his childhood home.

The Kids: Wanted a playground.

The Mother: Wanted a small shop.

The Aunt: Wanted to turn her Guay Jub shop into a Michelin-star spot.

We decided to keep the original house as it is to save the father’s memories. Then, we added a maze garden and a “castle” space for the kids to run around. The design connects the old house to the new play area—passing down the father’s happy memories to his children.
